Meet Suzanne Mullings Candidate for Englewood City Council Ward 2

Building a Stronger Englewood for All
Englewood’s Second Ward deserves more — more attention, more investment, and more leadership that truly listens. That’s why Suzanne is running for City Council.
A lifelong resident of the Second Ward, Suzanne knows this community from the inside out. She knows the streets, the families, and the everyday challenges residents face. She has watched her neighborhood navigate rising costs, infrastructure needs, and a growing demand for responsive government — and she believes it’s time for leadership that meets that moment.
Suzanne’s commitment to public service is not new. As a Board of Education Trustee from 2020 to 2023, she was a consistent voice for fiscal responsibility and transparency, fighting to ensure that taxpayer dollars were spent wisely and that families could trust the institutions serving them. That same drive for accountability and results is what she is bringing to City Council.
Her priorities are straightforward: affordability for taxpayers and renters, public safety, and government that answers to the people. Too many Second Ward residents are being squeezed by rising costs while feeling overlooked by the very leaders elected to serve them. Suzanne is committed to changing that — by making sure every dollar is accounted for, every street is safe, and every resident has a voice at the table.
What sets Suzanne apart is her belief that representation means everyone. Whether you live on a main street or a side street, whether you own your home or rent it, your concerns matter and deserve to be heard. She will hold developers accountable for the real costs they place on our infrastructure and insist that growth in Englewood benefits the residents who call it home.
Suzanne is ready to hit the ground running — for you, for your family, and for the future of the Second Ward.
